Experience
After qualifying in 1986, Michael trained with a local firm, gaining experience in conveyancing and court work before moving to a specialist commercial practice. This firm then amalgamated with a large local firm where Michael became a partner in 1992, continuing to specialise in commercial property work. He helped set up The Commercial Law Practice LLP in 1995.

Investment acquisitions and disposals, commercial lending and commercial leasing.
Michael works within the commercial property department of the firm, where his primary role involves advising on investment acquisitions and disposals.
He also has extensive experience in employment law and regularly advises clients on employment matters as well as representing clients at employment tribunals across Scotland.
